Comprehensive as well as routine dental and periodontal examination should be scheduled regularly, which includes a thorough examination of your teeth and surrounding tissue. We use the findings from our examination to formulate a complete diagnosis and if needed, a treatment plan just for you.

Emergency and After-Office Hours:

Patients of Record:  We hope that you will never experience a dental emergency but if you do, we want you to know that we are available by contacting the dental registry number noted on our telephone message machine at 517-787-0900.   Please give the operator: Your Name, Phone Number, Where/When you can be reached, and the Type Of Problem you are experiencing.  The Doctor will return your call as soon as possible.

During office hours: If you experience a dental emergency – please call us immediately at 517-787-0900 so that we may schedule the best available time for you. We will do everything possible to treat your problem immediately and attend to your needs.

Appointments:

We know you have many choices when choosing a Dentist in the Jackson, Michigan area.  Our dentists and hygienists have separate schedules to help accommodate your needs and we do our very best to maintain them on a timely basis.  If for some unexpected reason you are not able to keep your appointment, please call us at 517-787-0900 to avoid any future missed appointment fees. Our office does maintain a "call sooner" list of flexible, waiting patients.

Dental Insurance Coverage:

Your insurance coverage is based on a negotiated contract between your employer and a dental insurance company, and not with your dental office. The goal of most dental insurance policies is to provide basic care for specific dental services and it can be a big help or benefit to the patient when it "works like you think it should work." The benefits that you receive from the dental insurance company may have little to do with your individual needs or achieving a high-quality, complete result. Many needed services may not be covered. Our office will do everything possible to help you understand and make the most of your dental insurance benefits but please remember that we treat our patients' needs, not the insurance company's needs. As a courtesy, we can complete and submit your insurance claim forms to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled.

Please remember that employers can and do negotiate changes in your benefits on a yearly basis and do not inform the dental offices. Therefore, your employer’s Human Resource department along with the "booklets" they provide, and the insurance company representatives, will have the latest information and can provide answers to your questions.  We urge you to read your policy so that you are fully aware of coverage and any limitations of the benefits provided.  Also, be aware of your insurance company's statement: "Any information provided is not a guarantee of payment."  Your benefit payment is based on treatment, date of service, benefits available on that date-of-service, time restrictions, frequency guidelines, and other contract limitations.  The person having dental treatment is ultimately responsible for any fees not covered by their insurance benefit package.

Payment Options:

We accept checks, cash, and credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discovery, and CareCredit. We also offer payments divided equally among scheduled appointments. Please call our office for details.

Financing Options:

It is customary to pay for dental treatment at the time of service. If you are using insurance benefits, our business staff will estimate the patient’s portion for each procedure based upon information provided by the patient and/or your insurance company. This patient portion will be due at the time the dental procedure is completed. Any expected amounts are estimates until actual payment by your benefit plan is received and could vary according to that plan.  Any portion of the procedure not paid by the insurance company will be the patient’s responsibility and a final statement will be mailed if needed.  As stated above, our office currently offers several different payment options. We are committed to providing excellent dental care and helping patients in choosing the best payment option for their individual needs.
